Client:
thk design for AWG and HF Developments

What
the client wanted:
When Edinburgh-based thk design's client, AWG property and
HF Developments, required an effective method to promote that it
had taken over ownership of the former GPO building in Glasgow,
thk turned to Hi-fli to create a large mesh banner at short notice.
Partners
AWG and HF Developments had recently acquired the listed GPO building
at George Square in the heart of Glasgow for its new flagship office.
The large banner was printed and installed in just one day in December
2005 and features the company's logos and a message bidding customers
and the people of Glasgow a Merry Christmas.
What
the client got:
Measuring at 7.8m x10m printed onto 195gsm scaffolding mesh,
the banner was finished with kader and eyelets all round.
The banner was installed on 22 December and will be dismantled in
early February, when it will be sent back to Hi-fli for recycling.
Why
the client chose Hi-fli:
thk design and Hi-fli had previously worked together on similar
projects, and wanted to continue that partnership.
Simon
Green, Managing Director at thk design, said: "Having worked
with Hi-fli in the past, we were confident that they could produce
this banner for us within the given time frame. AWG were delighted
with the result, as it provides a great advert for their new offices
in Glasgow. The prominent position of the banner also means that
AWG will receive maximum exposure in the city."
